Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your GarageBook account and its data at any time. Deletion is currently handled by our support team on request; there is no in-app delete button yet.
How to delete your GarageBook account
- Step 1: Email contact.rozbill@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my GarageBook account".
- Step 2: Include your registered 10-digit mobile number in the message.
- Step 3: We verify the request against the account's registered mobile number (we may ask a confirmation question about the account).
- Step 4: We delete the account and confirm by reply. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: mobile number, name, PIN hash, ads preference
- All vehicles you added, including uploaded vehicle photos
- All expenses, fuel logs, trips, trip expenses and reminders
- Your sessions (refresh tokens) and request-diagnostics records
What may be retained, and why
- Records we must keep to comply with law, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes — for example, the minimal legal-acceptance audit trail — retained only as long as necessary for that purpose.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent — your ledger, fuel history, trips and analytics cannot be recovered.
- If you want your records first, request a copy of your data (see Data Deletion) or export the analytics PDF from the app.
